BIOGRAPHY
Dancer, performer and choreographer, Manon Bouquet begins her training in contemporary, modern and classic dances, in a private school in the South of France and continues to perfect on the occasion of international workshops.
First as a performer, she joins several musicals before enriching her experience through video clips, television shows, advertisements, threads but also during tours with artists like Angèle or Matt Pokora.
Manon subsequently integrates two companies, the collective 'Les Autres' by Marion Motin and 'La Marche Bleue” by Léo Walk, which she will also assist for three years. These experiences forged her interest in contemporary dance. Her versatile experiences and personal research lead her to choreograph for many artists such as Angèle, Pomme, Clara Luciani, Bon Entendeur etc... She also collaborates with fashion as a Movement Director on photo shoot and video shoot with renowned houses such as Dior, Balenciaga, Issey Miyake, Chanel, Adidas. She choreographs pieces ordered for events in fashion with Gucci, Cartier, Karl Lagerfeld, Ruinart, L'Occitane.
In 2023, she choreographed a first 30-minute piece, 'Reality', which was performed during at our of 16 dates in "zenith" of France, as the first part of the concerts of the French group Louise Attaque.
She directed 3 video projects supported by the media Nowness, which were the beginning of her one hour piece, that will premiere in September 2024. 'La Grande Vie' for 9 dancers, is inspired by lived and observed moments. Her dance aims to explore the construction of links with others and oneself by proposing a language where intention is the motor of movement.
